Quanitra Hollingsworth scored 10 of her 14 points in the second half to lead Turkey to a 70-65 victory over Croatia in the women's Olympic basketball tournament in London on Sunday.

Croatia opened the fourth quarter with a 10-0 scoring run, but then American-born center Hollingsworth took over. After scoring to end Croatia's burst, Turkey took the lead, but Croatia was within two -- 62-60 -- after Iva Ciglar's 3-pointer with 2:38 left.

Hollingsworth responded with a basket of her own and also scored Turkey's final basket of the game.

Turkey had already qualified for the quarterfinals and finished second in Group A and will play Russia on Tuesday. Ana Lelas had 14 points for Croatia, which finished 1-4 in its first Olympics.

Elsewhere, the US women's team tied their own Olympic scoring record with a 114-63 rout of China. Diana Taurasi scored 22 points and the women matched the 114 points they scored against Spain in 1992, but and fell well short of the women's Olympic mark of 128 points set by Brazil in 2004.

China was able to hang with the US for a quarter behind its own hot shooting before the Americans turned the game into a rout with a huge second-quarter run.

The victory gave the Americans the top seed in the group for the quarterfinals and they will play Canada on Tuesday.

In other matches, scores were: France 65, Russia 54; Czech Republic 82, Angola 47; Australia 72, Canada 63; and Brazil 78, Britain 66.

Tuesday's quarters fixtures: Australia vs. China (4 p.m. Turkish time), United States vs. Canada (6:15 p.m.), Turkey vs. Russia (10 p.m.) and France vs. Czech Republic (12:15 a.m.).
