‘Zenne’ hitting the big screen once more in 7 Turkish cities

Award winning gay “honor killing” drama “Zenne” (Zenne Dancer) is getting a second theatrical release this week in selected theaters across Turkey.

 The film, which premiered in last year’s Golden Orange film festival, is directors Caner Alper and Mehmet Binay’s debut effort and is based on the real life story of a young homosexual man who is murdered after coming out to his parents. The film is screened in selected theaters in İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Afyonkarahisar, Bursa, Kocaeli and Bodrum.
