Owner kills pit bull after it injures three

The incident took place early on Friday when İsmail Salkım, the owner of the dog, invited his friends, Mehmet Özortakçı and Erdal Dolgun to his garden. The pit bull first attacked Özortakçı. When Salkım intervened to try and stop the dog, it attacked him and then Dolgun.

The dog suffered blows to the head that led to its death. Salkım and his two friends, who all had injuries to their legs, were hospitalized at Dokuz Eylül University Hospital.
