Two caught over theft charges at İstanbul airport

Officers from the Public Security Bureau of the İstanbul Atatürk Airport Police Department have launched an operation against theft which is rampant at the airport. The officers tracked the two suspects who were identified thanks to camera footage and caught them in the act. The suspects confessed to their crime during interrogation and said they had been keeping what they stole in a hotel room in İstanbul’s Fatih district. The suspects were then sent to the Bakırköy Courthouse. Many computers, cell phones and $2,500 in cash were found during the search of the hotel.
