Aftershocks continue to shake quake-hit İzmir

According to the Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute at İstanbul's Boğaziçi University, there have been 50 aftershock tremors recorded at magnitudes between 1.9 and 4.4 following the magnitude 5.0 earthquake on Tuesday, which was centered on İzmir Bay at a depth of 12 kilometers. The earthquake was also felt in neighboring provinces.
