Its French opponent fought hard to close the gap in the second quarter, but Beşiktaş Milangaz continued to win 44-40. The Turkish team was able to stay ahead 57-55 by the end of the third quarter. “I told my team in September, before playing any of our opponents, that we would bring home this cup,” Ergin Ataman, head coach of Beşiktaş Milangaz, told the press following the game.
