Time to account for Feb. 28 coup

Detention warrants were issued for a number of people. It is right for people who actively participated in the coup to be brought to court and called to account for their actions. However, those who had a “coup-supporting mindset” and fed the process of the Feb. 28 military coup should also be judged so that military coups will not occur again. Those who opposed the Ergenekon investigation, made fun of the Sledgehammer investigation and tried to debase the Sept. 12, 1980 coup investigation by calling it theater will try the same tactics in the Feb. 28 investigation no later than tomorrow. It is quite obvious that the “revenge” discourse of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader will see widespread use. However, the coup organizers will have to account sooner or later for what they did. The day of reckoning has already arrived.
