Turkey calls for prosecution of attacks abroad on Turkish promotion events

"Attacks on events promoting Turkey abroad by some Armenian groups has recently increased. We are expecting related countries to prosecute those attacks and take measures to prevent recurrence of such incidents," Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesman Selçuk Ünal said in a response to a question on Tuesday.

Ünal said the latest instants of such attacks came during a Beirut fair of Turkish ready-wear manufacturers and at the International Books Fair in Paris.

"This hostile attitude and the radical nationalist mind set it is founded on have shown its face in the form of terrorist attacks in the past," Ünal said.
