Çıplak Ayaklar company’s ‘Words’ to echo onstage

The İstanbul-based contemporary dance company Çıplak Ayaklar will this week present its new show, “Kelimeler” (Words), at the French Cultural Center on İstanbul’s İstiklal Caddesi.

Rather than an exploration of a single subject matter through dance, “Kelimeler” is a combination of five separate choreographies created at various times by the company’s own dancers, inspired by various “words.” The performance is scheduled for Wednesday at 8 p.m.
