Gudrun Gut to play live set at Babylon Club

German electronic musician Gudrun Gut, billed by The Wire magazine as a “dilettante” who has “genially hosted Berlin’s new music scene for 30 years,” will be in İstanbul this week for a live performance on Friday at the Babylon Club.
Gut, who was an early member of the experimental act Einstürzende Neubauten, will take the stage Friday at 10 p.m. for her show, which comes as part of the “New Sounds of Germany” concert series within the framework of İstanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture activities.
